True, there are lots of fishes in the sea. The financial world has seen several cryptocurrency wallets which interact with the Ethereum Blockchain. Like many of these software, MULA Wallet also operates as an app installed on a mobile device or a desktop to allow users to access the MULA token and all other tokens stored on the blockchain. It is a non-custodial wallet, which is to say that it does not in any way store or save users’ information on the servers, which is great for all security reasons.

You’re probably wondering what then is so different about the MULA Wallet. With new projects sprouting each day in the cryptocurrency space, what sets Mula apart, from the others we already know of? Read on to find out.

For starters, we have our objective going for us. The goal is to especially focus on the African continent and to open up its fragmented financial payment system and mostly centralized banking service by introducing means for expedient cross-border transactions and payment flows. This is to ensure SME expansion and economic transformation on the continent. It is our goal to bridge the wide gap that prevents Africa from fully realizing wide payment integration which is limited by borders or currencies.

Our objective is also directed towards the unbanked population of Africa who may be geographically or infrastructurally constrained, among other constraints. What we are proposing is rooted in decentralization — bringing e-banking to the grassroots in the most transparent way possible.

MULA Wallet also supports Fiat currencies of the 54 African countries. Users are able to use one local currency based on their country of registration. The wallet allows direct deposits either by bank transfer or mobile money agent cash-in process. It should be noted that although the MULA Wallet is made available to everyone in the world, access to the Fiat component is limited to those on the African continent.

Beyond that, our wallet also supports merchant payment through QR code, staking, and investment of MULA token through the use of our inbuilt Cassava Protocol, which is one of the products within the MULA Finance ecosystem.

We aim to develop and support the MULA wallet, make it multi-chain, and make it a wallet of choice for the unbanked. We invite you to become part of this wind of change on the continent. Try MULA. Try freedom!
